MembershipIn order to ensure that the Council is representative of all voices within the paraprofessional home care aide community, we offer four different membership levels. Agency Member:Organizations directly employing home care aides and meeting the standards of training, supervision, and administration as established by the Massachusetts Council for Home Care Aide Services, Inc. Membership dues for this level are based on annual home care aide payroll. More... Business Associate Members are organizations that offer supplies or services to home care agencies. Such organizations include: accountants, attorneys, consultants, development and management companies, insurance providers, supply vendors, and others. More... Non-Provider Organization Member: Non-Provider Members are organizations that do not directly employ home care aides but benefit from the information, standards, and training resources offered through our Council. Such organizations include: Aging Services Access Points (ASAPs), colleges, Councils on Aging, geriatric care managers, home care aide training providers, trade schools, workforce development partners, and others. Individual members are retirees, students, government employees, professional workers in allied professions, staff of member agencies, and other individuals interested in developing and supporting the Council’s mission. Eligibility is restricted to individuals who are not eligible to join as an Agency, Business Associate, or Non-Provider member. More...
